Notice to Applicants

For roles involving crucial tasks such as transporting patients or frequently using RBHC vehicles, you are required to submit proof of holding a valid Montana Driver’s License and complete additional documentation. A member of the Human Resources Department will reach out to you through email for further communication.

A comprehensive background investigation by RBHC is required for all positions. The existence of unfavorable findings does not disqualify an applicant from potential employment.​

Applicant Qualifications & Screening Standards

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet the minimum education, licensure, certification, experience, and driver’s license requirements listed in the job posting. Applications that do not meet the stated minimum qualifications will not be considered.

Employment History & Professional Standards

RBHC reviews employment history and professional conduct as part of the screening process. Applicants should provide complete and accurate employment information, including explanations for any significant gaps in employment.

Applicants must demonstrate professional behavior consistent with healthcare standards and ethical practice.

 

Prior employment history may be reviewed to determine eligibility for rehire when applicable.

 

Minimum Standards of Character

Because RBHC serves Indian children and other vulnerable persons, all selected candidates must successfully complete a background investigation and meet federally required Minimum Standards of Character.

An individual will not be eligible for employment if they have been found guilty of, or entered a plea of guilty or nolo contendere to: any felony offense; or two or more misdemeanor offenses involving crimes of violence, sexual misconduct, crimes against persons, or offenses committed against children under Federal or Tribal law.

​

These standards are in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and community.

Background Checks & Additional Screening

Employment offers are contingent upon satisfactory completion of required background checks, which may include:

  • Criminal history review

  • Motor vehicle record check (for driving positions)

  • Drug screening

  • Verification of licensure and certifications

  • Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver’s license and be insurable under RBHC’s insurance policy.
